What is the Stand with Wichita Fund?
The Stand with Wichita Fund is a partnership with The Salvation Army in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dollars donated will assist individuals who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 virus.

Who will receive funding?
WCF is administering funds to The Salvation Army whose Emergency Assistance Team will manage applications and make payments to utility companies. 100% of donations to the Fund will go to those in need. Individuals residing in Sedgwick County whose employment has been affected by the COVID-19 virus are eligible applicants for this program.

Funding will be made available on April 1. Call The Salvation Army at 316.263.2769 x148 to make an appointment.
How much funding is available?
The amount of funding that will be available is dependent on the amount of donations received, in addition to the gift from WCF.
WCF will not charge administrative fees for the management of this fund.
