Beth Alexander Memorial Award Scholarship Fund One $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled at Garden Plain High School in Garden Plain, KS. Chad McCune Scholarship Fund Two scholarships (up to $500 each) are awarded annually to young men, between the ages of six and 19, who wish to attend a summer camp of their choosing. Doug Hays Memorial Criminal Justice and Psychology Scholarship Fund One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded annually to an undergraduate student at Bethany College majoring in criminal justice and/or psychology. Award to be used for tuition, books or fees associated with degree completion. E. Eugene Carter Scholarship Fund One $1,500 scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior from East High School in Wichita, KS, who is enrolled in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States, with plans of studying in the field of engineering or science. Preference will be given to female applicants who are Hispanic, first-generation immigrant or first-generation college attendee. East High Alumni Scholarship Fund Members of the East High Class of 1955 offer scholarships annually (number of awards and amounts vary) to graduating seniors from Wichita High School East in Wichita, KS. pursuing a variety of educational options. Evergy Scholarship Fund Four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded annually to students residing in zip codes 67208, 67214 and 67219 to be used for tuition, books or fees for post-secondary education. This includes technical education, special education and two or four-year college or university. Scholarship is renewable once, but not assured. Forget Me Not Scholarship Fund Two $500 scholarships are awarded annually to seniors graduating from an accredited high school in Kansas who plan to attend an accredited college, university, seminary, junior college or vocational technical college in the United States. Gregory Fleming Memorial Scholarship Fund One $400 scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior at Mulvane High School in Mulvane, KS. for their first year of post-secondary education, including vocational or special education. J.D and Dorothy Edmiston Scholarship for Track & Field Athletes Fund Two $500 scholarships are awarded annually to one male and one female student graduating from East High School in Wichita, KS who competed in track and field and/or cross country. James D. Moore Endowed Scholarship Fund One scholarship (amount varies) is awarded annually to a graduating high school student who is the first generation in their family to attend college and who participated in track & field and/or cross country for at least two years. Graduating seniors from Wichita North High School will have first preference but if no qualified candidates apply, the scholarship is open to graduating seniors in other Wichita high schools. James K. Pitetti Memorial Scholarship Fund One $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior from Derby High School in Derby, KS who is among the top 10% of the graduating class and has lettered in a varsity sport. Lorraine and Otis Smith Caddie Scholarship Scholarships are awarded annually to selected caddies employed at the Flint Hills National Golf Club in Andover, KS who have caddied a minimum 10 rounds during the past year. Matthew Aaron Gamm Memorial Scholarship Fund One $2,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a USD 259 graduate for expenses related to post-secondary education, including vocational and special education. Optimist Memorial Scholarship Fund Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually to Sedgwick County graduating high school seniors. Randy Banks Memorial Scholarship Fund Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually to one male and one female Kansas high school student planning to attend post-secondary education in Kansas. Rich & Hannah Kerschen Law Company Family Scholarship Fund Through the generosity of Rich and Hannah Kerschen, up to $3,000 in scholarship funds will be awarded annually to a child/step-child or grandchild/step-grandchild of a current or retired Law Company employee. The Autobiography Scholarship Fund One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating senior at Sterling High School in Sterling, KS. Timothy Seguine Northwest High School Scholarship Fund One $2,000 scholarship is awarded annually to one high school senior graduating from Wichita Northwest High School in Wichita, KS.
