FLEXIBLE GIVING

The Wichita Foundation accepts many types of charitable and planned gifts. These gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Some types may have additional conditions upon acceptance, so please contact us with any questions or concerns.

Cash and Checks

The simplest and most convenient form of giving.

Publicly-traded securities

By contributing appreciated securities, such as equities, bonds, or mutual funds, you can receive a double benefit of an immediate charitable deduction for the full market value of the assets and an exemption to any capital gains tax on the appreciation.

Insurance

By transferring ownership of your insurance policy to the Wichita Foundation, you will receive a tax deduction for the policy’s cash value.

Real Estate

A gift of real estate to the Wichita Foundation offers an excellent way to unlock the full appraised value of a property, allow for significant tax and economic advantages, and at the same time, build a charitable legacy through support of your favorite causes.

Closely-held securities

Contributing closely-held securities can be a cost-effective way to maximize your philanthropic options while minimizing tax liabilities.

Tangible personal property

We accept tangible gifts of property, including art, antiques and more.
