Evergy Community Response Fund at WCF invests $100,000 in local COVID-19 recovery and racial equity work
In reaction to current global events, the Evergy Community Response Fund at the Wichita Community Foundation (WCF) awarded 10 Wichita nonprofits $10,000 each to support efforts that close gaps in services created by COVID-19 or promote solutions to racial injustice.

Public Life Training Intensive designed to grow placemaking community
Public space activation relies heavily on strong and engaged stewardship. WCF is working with local placemakers to experiment crowdsourcing this service. The concept will be tested on the land where the Pop Up Park once stood near Douglas and Main.
