2005 MURDOCK GRANTS

The Victor Murdock Fund made grants to local nonprofit organizations totaling $32,435.00 for 2005. Recipients were:

• ALS Association: $4,000 to purchase hard drives, a copy machine, a public address system & a digital camera.
• Arts Partners: $2,000 to purchase used office furniture and files.
• Communities in Schools: $4,000 to purchase computer replacement parts.
• FUNdamental Learning: $2,295 to purchase a camera and projector.
• Girl Scouts: $4,000 for a new point of sale system and web applications.
• Heartspring: $2,500 in a challenge grant for general support of the feeding clinic.
• Inter-Faith Ministries: $2,500 in a challenge grant to help purchase an agency van to transport the homeless.
• Rainbows United: $2,140 in a challenge grant to purchase battery powered mobility toys for children.
• Union Rescue Mission: $5,000 to help purchase a commercial refrigeration unit for their homeless facility.
• USD259-Riverside School: $4,000 to purchase books for the school library.
